Sandman Signature Sheffield Quays Hotel

My recent stay at Best Western Plus the Quays Hotel Sheffield with my 2-month-old was initially promising. The friendly staff and clean, comfortable room enhanced our experience. We enjoyed the relaxing spa and indoor pool after visiting nearby landmarks like Sheffield Cathedral and the Winter Gardens. our experience was marred by the disappointing bathroom accessibility and concerns about bed bugs, which overshadowed what could have been a lovely family stay.

Staff and food are excellent. Cool rooms with facilities like an iron/ironing board, an electronic key card and coffee/tea making equipment. The location is stunning, 1 km from a large glasshouse.

Plenty of food for the English breakfast.

The staff were helpful and friendly, making check-in and check-out a breeze. With convenient parking right by the entrance, it was easy to explore the nearby attractions like the Sheffield Winter Garden and Kelham Island Museum. Our superior room featured a spacious balcony, perfect for family relaxation, although the bed size was less than expected for a superior room. The leisure facilities, including the pool, were enjoyable, and breakfast was delicious. While there were some minor issues, our overall experience was lovely, and we would happily return.

The hotel was in a good location and very luxurious and clean.

The only downside for our trip was that my car was bumped in the car park and the incident was not reported to reception.

Immaculate, neat room with deep shampoo, comfy furniture and balcony. Attentive and exceptional staff, free wake up service and ironing.

The super nice team, especially ted in the bar and restaurant, he really went outta his way for us. The breakfasts were nice, but started way too late at 8am. Nice comfy room too, clean and spacious. Even tho the hotel was a bit pricey, the staff definitely made it better.

Good value if you book online without the option to cancel.

Everything....... We recieved a lovely welcome. The room was fantastic and well supplied with tea, coffee and toiletries. The bed was brilliant and we slept like logs. Lovely shower!!! I'm allergic to feather pillows, so we asked for different one's and they were delivered in 5 minutes! We were well looked after!!

Charging £5.00 for car parking is a bit cheeky, but on balance, at last the car is secure.

The gym and pool facilities are great, and the room was spacious with a lovely view. Plus, I loved the nearby quirky bar called The Dorothy Pax!

Hotel staff very friendly and helpful

There are a few complaints about this hotel.. 1.no shower curtain in the bathroom 2.one of the towels had big orange stains 3.had to wait 5minutes for the barmaid to come and serve would expect better from the 'hilton'

friendy staff and swimming pool

The hotel boasts a prime location near the trendy Victoria Quays. The room was spacious and immaculate. Staff were efficient and friendly, providing excellent service throughout my stay, particularly during breakfast. The breakfast options were diverse, including hot items and fresh pastries.

No phone in the room.

Good location, friendly staff, good gym and spa.

Nice hotel in the city centre. Convenient for what we wanted to do. Staff very courteous and helpful. The restraurant staff at breakfast were particularly pleasant.
